Moving forward, we will move towards the beautiful town of Midlet nestled in the Middle Atlas Mountains, which is famous for its apple orchards. Midlet exports the finest apples to the European markets. As your journey progresses, we move towards the breathtaking ZIZ Valley, which is famous for its lush green tar trees and date palm production. This is the main source of livelihood for the local people here.

Now finally you will reach the beautiful Sahara Desert just before sunset. Enjoy the beauty of the desert by riding a camel on golden dunes covering a distance of 6 kilometers. Do you want to experience life up close in the Sahara Desert? The desert adventure really begins on the sixth day of this 10 day Morocco itinerary. Start your day early if you want to witness the most breathtaking sunrise of your life. After a traditional desert breakfast, you can return to the village by camel or 4×4.

The first stop today is the village of Khamlia, a small community founded by people from Sudan, Mali and South Africa. They bring with them unique Gnawa music and rhythms. You enjoy a warm Moroccan welcome with mint tea. After that, a soulful musical performance transports you to another world.

Continuing further, we reach the Meffis Mountains, once colonized by the French for mining precious metals and mascara materials. Here you meet a nomadic family living behind the Erg Chebbi dunes and learn about their rich history. Spend some time with them under their camel skin tent.

End the day with a visit to a desert oasis, lunch at a local restaurant serving authentic Berber pizza and a relaxing swim back at the hotel.

First we will head to Rissani, a historic city known for its traditional bazaar and the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty the royal family of Morocco. Explore the vibrant souks that keep centuries-old traditions alive. Through the local crafts, spices and textiles.

We will then head to the awe-inspiring Todgha Gorge where nature’s grandeur is revealed. Perched high on a cliff, lies a dramatic canyon, shaped over millennia by the meandering Todgha River, which nourishes the surrounding gardens, forests and oases.

As the day ends we head to the stunning Dades gorge, a destination known for its fascinating rock formations and serene beauty, offering a peaceful retreat.  Here you can spend the night in a charming riad.
