⇒ Day 1: Arrival in Fes & Start a Sightseeing tour 

The first day of your 4 Days Private Sahara Desert tour from Fes. The day starts with the pickup by your driver guide, who welcomes you at the airport of Fes to transfer you directly to the Medina, where you will meet your knowledgeable local guide to safely show you his incredible and ancient city. Today’s visit starts at the magnificent grand Doors of the king’s Palace.

Doors engraved with tiles, wood, and mosaics. These Gates from Outside tell you how enormous is the inside. In the pottery factory, untamed creativity and craftsmen meet. This place is renowned for beautifully handcrafted pottery exhibiting a rich cultural heritage from Morocco. From fairly simple decorative plates and bowls to very complex vases and tiles, the artisans shape clay into their many forms. Every piece handmade by an accredited craftsman tells a story of its own.

Medina and it’s Secrets:

After this, you will continue, but this time, you will get lost amid the medieval narrow streets of the Medina and admire the smashing architecture of these deep and ancient city such as al-Qaraouin mosques and madrasa, which were built by the hardworking and ambitious woman named Fatima el Fihria. Then, you will arrive at the Bounania Madrasa, a 14^th-century religious school well-known for its intricate tile work and peaceful courtyard. To top off this itinerary, a group will see the acclaimed tanning houses, where age-old leather crafting techniques have survived through the centuries. Finally, this marvelous day will close with a stroll through the Jewish Quarter or Mallah in Arabic.

There was a long history of craftsmanship and entrepreneurship within the Jewish community in Fez, and the factory epitomized those skills and ingenuity. With your local guide, you will dive into this magnificent monument; he will inform you about the clandestine history behind it and answer your every single question. At the end of the Day, Your driver guide will meet you again and your local guide will goodbye. ⇒ Day 2: Fes » Ifrane » Cedar Forest » Midelt » Ziz Valley » Sahara Desert

Your day trip is remarkable, leaving you captivated by the personalities of various lands and dazzling landscapes. First, you will be escorted to Ifrane, popularly known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” with its fine European-style architecture. The town has quite a respectable number of tourists during the snowy seasons, but in the meantime, it is an out-of-this-world weekend retreat for many Moroccans. Afterward, we continue on the route to Cedar Forest, where the endangered Barbary macaques reside. The macaques cast off from Gibraltar and now call this forest home. Some feeding is okay, but do exercise caution.

Further, it is on to Midelt, a beautiful town located among the Middle Atlas Mountains famed for the apple trees from this area apple fruits are exported into Europe. Last but not least, we traverse through a landscape of the Ziz Valley, with its flourishing palm groves and meandering rivers. The locals living here earn their livelihood by selling dates and juice dates.

In time for the sunset, we find ourselves once more in the golden sand dunes, all along this breathtaking trip. The camels were to be boarded here and have been waiting for a while. Camels in the next hour and a half will walk you across the small and high dunes stretched over 6 kilometers in width. On the way to the camp are hours set aside to stare at the Breathtaking sunset, so be prepared with your camera to memorize it. Your night will be under the star-studded desert sky with a delightful desert dinner and some traditional Berber rhythms around the campfire.

⇒ Day 3: Desert Excursion » Khamlia Village » Nomads » Meffis Mountain

To wake up early today would be worthwhile to witness what could potentially be the most majestic sunrise in your life. In the afternoon, riding on the camel back to the village will also be an option or alternatively the 4*4. The tour of this fascinating town is engaging indeed. Hospitality and warmth from the local people never stop. Berber tribes have been inhabiting this area since ages; thus, the local culture is preserved for visitors to experience.

Our first stop is Khamila Village, where black-skinned people have created their own villages after immigrating from Sudan, Mali, and South Africa, to survive in Morocco. In the village, we will visit one of the Senior Music associations that is famous for Gnawa Rhythms. Entering the village, one gets a welcome drink of tea. That is one of the traditional ways of welcoming visitors in the village and country. After that, we will have fun and dance to the Rhythms of Gnawa, travelling in time, forgetting every stress and worry that could come to our minds in that moment under the influence of spirituality held in music.

Next to Meffis:

A wonderful and independent Mountain which was colonized earlier by the French. From here, precious metals, eyeliner and galena from which mascara was manufactured were being extracted from the mountain. Afterward, we carry on with our excursion towards Nomad Families living behind the erg Chebbi dunes. We will have some time with the theme under their tents made of handwoven camel skin. After a Glass of tea, we will proceed to one of the area’s oases just to see how life survives in the desert and how oases get their water!! Time for lunch at one of the local restaurants specializing in graciously making Berber pizza- After that, we will drive you to the Hotel to complete your day at the swimming pool. Overnight stay at a super fantastic hotel.
