⇒ Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech & Sightseeing tour

The first day of your 8 Days in Morocco from Marrakech begins. With your driver-guide picking you up from the Marrakech airport with a warm welcome. Moving on, you are dropped off at your charming riad for checking in. You are then met by your knowledgeable guide who will take you around the city and the places you have chosen for this trip. Moving on, they will show you the city known as the Red City which has a wonderful day out.

Your guide will meet you and start by making a series of tours of all the amazing sights. On the way to Medina lies the Jemaa el Fna Square which is famous for its lively atmosphere, street performers and delicious street food. The square lights up all the time and is one of the most potential sights of Marrakech. You can also call it the beating heart of the city. The sightseeing tour includes some of the places like the Saadian Tomb, the Quranic Mosque of Ben Youssef, the Bahia Palace, beautiful architecture and beautiful gardens.

The second day of our 8 Days in Morocco from Marrakech will start. With delicious breakfast and then we will move towards Boumalne Dades. There will be a lot to see during the journey as its first stop is the amazing view of the Tizi N Tichka pass at an altitude of 2260 meters above sea level. Moving ahead, we will move towards the town of Ait Ben Haddou. Which is famous for its well-preserved town which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Many films are filmed here due to which this town is famous not only in Morocco, but all over the world. Now it is time for lunch for which we will take some time and after that drive towards Ouarzazate which is known as the Hollywood of Morocco.

Stop here to take some memorable pictures of the royal film and series and then move on to Kalaat M’ Gouna. Many people also know it as Rose Valley. Here, products related to our daily life are prepared from roses like cream, soap, oil and many other products. Moving ahead, traders will reach Boumalne Dades which will first take you on a tour of the amazing george. You will be mesmerized by the spectacular views of the rugged hills and the lush green valley here. Stay overnight in the gorgeous riad and have a beautiful start to the next day.

Morocco’s royal family resides here. Explore its centuries-old souk, learn about local crafts, discover spices and vibrant Berber culture.

Today, the exciting day comes to an end. Enjoy a visit to the Sahara Desert of Merzouga . Where golden dunes stretch endlessly. Enjoy a magical camel ride crossing the dunes before arriving at your desert camp. You will experience a mesmerizing sunset here. Spending the night under the starry sky, enjoying a Berber dinner and listening to rhythmic music around the campfire will take you to a different world.

On the fourth day of this 8-day Morocco itinerary, wake up early to witness the most beautiful sunrise of your life. After having a traditional desert breakfast, you can choose to return to the village by camel or 4×4 ride. Today’s exploration takes us deep into the cultural and historical wonders of the Sahara.

The first stop of the day is the village of Khamlia, home to a unique community of African origin from Sudan, Mali and South Africa. Here you will visit traditional Gnawa music that will transport you to another world. They have their own way of welcoming you which starts with mint tea.

Next to Meffis:

Next, we will head towards Meffis Mountain, which was once a French colonial mining site where they extracted precious metals like eyeliner minerals and galena. After that we will also meet a nomadic family living behind the erg Chebbi dunes and learn the rare story of their traditional desert lifestyle.

The day will end with a visit to an oasis in the desert. Where we will learn about how the locals grow their crops in the arid landscape. You will also enjoy delicious Berber pizza while returning to your hotel, where the peaceful atmosphere will prepare you for the next day.

⇒ Day 5: Sahara Desert » Ziz Valley » Cedar Forest » Ifrane » Fes

On the fifth day of our tour, after enjoying a desert breakfast, we will leave the Sahara Desert and take the long route to Fes in our 8 day Morocco itinerary. Which covers a distance of 467 km. First of all, we will move towards the beautiful views of the Ziz Valley. In which we will also see lush green palm trees, winding rivers and local people making their living by selling dates and date juice. Moving forward, we will go to Midlet, a beautiful city located in the Middle Atlas Mountains. There are many apple trees here, for which it is famous. Apples are exported to European countries.

After having lunch in the afternoon, we will continue our journey and go to the majestic cedar forest. It is home to the endangered Barbary macaque. Macaques have migrated from Gibraltar and made their home in the forest. Feeding them is allowed but care is necessary. The last stop will be the city of Ifrane, which is known for its attractive European architecture as well as the Switzerland of Morocco. People come here as an important tourist destination during snowfall. However, people of Morocco prefer to spend their weekends here. Finally, we will complete our day and go towards our destination city of Fes.

On the sixth day of your trip, after a traditional breakfast in Riyadh, your driver-guide awaits you. Who will pick you up around 9:00 am and then drive you to the magnificent Golden Royal Gates? The first stop of the day will be Meknes, an imperial city full of history and charm. It is known for its relaxed atmosphere, lush parks and well-preserved medina. Meknes offers a glimpse into Morocco’s glorious past. Classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996, it contains such impressive sites as the Museum of King Ismail, Hri and sahrij swani, Qara prison and the iconic Bab Mansour Gate.

Volubilis:

Continuing on, we will visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis . Which are over 2300 years old. Originally founded by the Carthaginians and later expanded. Byy the Romans, Volubilis contains impressive remains of temples, courtyards, baths and intricately crafted monuments.

After a full day of travelling, as the sun moves towards sunset, we arrive at chefchaouen, Morocco’s magnificent blue pearl. The beautiful town nestled in the Rif Mountains welcomes us with its relaxed atmosphere and mesmerizing blue streets. We stayed overnight in a traditional riad in the medina to prepare for the next day.

⇒ Day 8: Chefchaouen » Transfer to Tanger’s Airport

On the eighth day of our 8 days Morocco itinerary we will start by visiting the blue city. We will head towards Tanger in the north of Morocco. It depends on your departure time whether you are departing in the afternoon/evening/night. We will continue by completing the tour of the famous places of Tanger as we will start from the landmark of Hercules Cave which offers unique geological features and historical significance. Hercules Cave is a great place for those who love nature a lot and are history lovers.

Moving forward we stop at a panorama where the beautiful Atlantic Sea and the Mediterranean Sea meet together. It is a beautiful place for photo lovers. After that we will move towards Camp Supportal from where you will get to see the amazing view of the tower. The places here are considered the second closest point to Spain after Tunisia. Moving forward we will complete the tour of the Medina of Tangier from where you will get to see a breathtaking view of the sea and the port. After having lunch we take you to the airport.
